Ray, Joe, Jen and I about to head out.

Nice and peaceful at this point.
Shove off time was supposed to be 10:00, Adam and Missy caught up to us an hour later.
Ray and Joe hung up on a tree back there.

Here's the NY/PA line at the bridge. I have no idea what Jen is doing to my head, but I get her back, more on that later.
My only complaint with this canoe is they need stronger glue on the lettering. The canoe is only two years old.

And finally Jess and James (up front) catch up to us after three hours.
Here's the second hairy part of this trip, the creek narrows here and thrusts you toward the trees on the side. Ray, Adam and Gary dunked here earlier this year.

Group shot! Ray, what are you doing?
Something about bridges brings the uncontrollable urge to touch them. The biggest enigma related to canoeing.

I must have hit the throttle too hard to cause Jen to fall over backwards.
Traffic jam.

Group shot!
Jess and James found a ball over there.

Group shot!
I have no idea what was so funny.

Ah yes, the last "dry" pic. Found out there were hungry sharks in French Creek and they like wooden paddles.
Here's where I get my revenge from Jen messing with my head a few hours earlier. Dunk Time! Wow, was that water cold. 46° to be exact. Jen wouldn't let me back in the canoe opting for Missy instead.
All I remember is standing up (not uncommon), losing balance (not uncommon), and slamming down hard on the left edge of the canoe. The creek did the rest, flipped both of us out. We were about 10 minutes away from the end and about 2 minutes away from where we dunked last year.
Jess, James and dog.

Here's the ending bridge in Wattsburg. Notice I'm riding in Adam's canoe since I got banned from my own canoe 8^)
Pretty awesome trip especially since it was Jen's birthday. Never thought we'd be canoeing on Nov 23rd. This isn't Florida either, this is Northwestern Pennsylvania. We're usually under a foot of snow at this point.
