This was probably the funnest trip yet. Excellent weather and excellent water temperature. We started a lot earlier so we didn't feel very rushed in trying to beat the sun. We were doing so good on time that near the end we spent an hour or so just swimming around in this one area. Too bad Ray lost his glasses in a brainless move. Went through many pictures on this trip. Got some real good pics of a bald eagle from almost directly under him.

Here's the eagle. We pulled up as far as the creek would allow us. I had one picture left on the roll and wanted to make it a good one.
I snapped, he stayed, I reloaded and actually had to whistle to get him to fly. Couldn't believe my luck.
Here's the new swimming hole for us. Very nice gradual slope to about 6' deep. We spent a lot of time goofing around here.

And the final departing shot as we were getting ready to load the canoes. Oh, Donnie and Ray are cousins, not lovers 8^).
