One of the best canoe trips yet! Very hot and the water felt great to cool off in. It was a little on the shallow side and we had to drag the canoes through ankle deep water a few times, but a very nice ride. That is at least until I dropped my digital camera in the water! Must not have latched the waterproof case all the way. One minute it's hanging from my neck, the next minute I look down and the case is wide open and there's my camera under a foot of water. Looks like the electronics are starting to dry out now after baking the camera in the car with the windows rolled up. Hopefully it will make a full recovery. Update: full recovery achieved after two days! |

Nice little area to stop for a break and a quick pano shot. We sent Missy to the rock because she was being bad. |
 | Ray about to drop my canoe down the (very steep) bank while Jen supervises.
Josh riding down that (very steep) bank. |

 | All of us ready to go. (Front row) Missy, me, Jen (Back row) Josh, Jimmy, Josh, Ray, Jeff and Adam.
We told Jimmy this was a black tie affair so he came prepared. |

 | This was our first four canoe trip down French Creek.

 | I love shots like these, so relaxing. |

Jeff and Ray in 'the rapids' in Ray's brand spanking new canoe. You guys are too crazy 8^) |

Smile for me Jen.
It was a little shallow in a few places, but not too bad. |

Still haven't figured out how Josh fell out of the canoe.
They both went for a dip a little bit later. |

Here are the psychos climbing the cliff. |

The final pics taken on this trip. We were only half way done when I dropped the camera in the creek right after this composite picture. I didn't even get to enjoy the French Creek Hot Tub over there. |

James doesn't have a canoe so he rode his 4 wheeler.
This is what we usually look like at the end. |
