One of the best canoe trips yet! Very hot and the water felt great to cool off in. It was a little on the shallow side and we had to drag the canoes through ankle deep water a few times, but a very nice ride. That is at least until I dropped my digital camera in the water! Must not have latched the waterproof case all the way. One minute it's hanging from my neck, the next minute I look down and the case is wide open and there's my camera under a foot of water. Looks like the electronics are starting to dry out now after baking the camera in the car with the windows rolled up. Hopefully it will make a full recovery.
Update: full recovery achieved after two days!

Nice little area to stop for a break and a quick pano shot. We sent Missy to the rock because she was being bad.
Ray about to drop my canoe down the (very steep) bank while Jen supervises.

Josh riding down that (very steep) bank.
All of us ready to go. (Front row) Missy, me, Jen (Back row) Josh, Jimmy, Josh, Ray, Jeff and Adam.

We told Jimmy this was a black tie affair so he came prepared.
This was our first four canoe trip down French Creek.

Jeff and Ray pulling up the rear.
I love shots like these, so relaxing.
Jimmy and Jeff posing with their sunglasses.

Jeff and Ray in 'the rapids' in Ray's brand spanking new canoe. You guys are too crazy 8^)
Smile for me Jen.

It was a little shallow in a few places, but not too bad.
Still haven't figured out how Josh fell out of the canoe.

They both went for a dip a little bit later.
Here are the psychos climbing the cliff.

The final pics taken on this trip. We were only half way done when I dropped the camera in the creek right after this composite picture. I didn't even get to enjoy the French Creek Hot Tub over there.
James doesn't have a canoe so he rode his 4 wheeler.

This is what we usually look like at the end.
