| No major submersion dunks this time. It was a very nice ride, maybe a little on the cold side because of the wind, but still a good time. I was able to remotely snap some pics of us canoeing by using a remote control camera rig mounted to a tripod. Very cool results. Oh, I lost my American Flag somewhere, man that stinks. I guess I have to build a better mount, maybe one that's spring loaded. |

![]() Here is the shot from the remote rig I built. We stopped so I could set everything up, then we paddled upstream a bit and turned around. The rig was originally built for Kite Aerial Photography but now serves a dual purpose. Notice where we parked the canoes to the extreme right. I finished taking the shots for the panoramic stitching after we had beached over there. Clicky here to compare this same panoramic shot to one taken April 27. | ||
![]() | Kristy, Josh and Gary gettin up close and personal with Mr. Tree. All that crap on the other two canoes is from the Regatta this year. They stuck straw to their canoes with what else... duct tape. |

![]() | Ducking under a tree. This is not where we lost the flag which I originally thought. We made it through Ok, but trees and canoes don't mix very well. Hi honey. |

The Sun is starting to get a little lower and it's getting much colder too. Strange crew, I accept no responsibility for the other dorks. |

Is everyone having fun? It was just a little dark when we finished. |
